Introducing Vangie, The Pinoy Apple Siri
Posted on 25. Dec, 2011 by dimaks in Pinoy, Technology
With the release of iPhone 4S on December 16, Siri came along as the “intelligent personal assistant” that helps the phone user do the things around or get things done by asking. Siri assists in sending text messages, scheduling meetings and placing a call. It is said that Siri is capable of understanding one’s natural speech and has the ability to ask questions to further clarify if needed in performing a task.
But for the Filipino users of iPhone 4S or its counterparts, would you be willing to have your phone locally tailored for your usual daily tasks, just like what is shown in the photos below? Take a look!
I am sure you do, and to the best that I can sense, it will just pop out in the Philippine market before you know it. So guess what? Somebody behind the MacapunoSystems uploaded a video of a replica of the iPhone 4S English system command – Vangie, the Pinoy virtual assistant. Indeed, brilliant with all the humor and tech, plus functionality rolled into one. Watch the video below with Vangie, the Pinoy Siri:
Could this be a precursor to a possible introduction of a locally crafted iPhone 4S? Or this video is made for the mere sake of bringing humor to the overwhelming waves of mobile gadgets revolution?
I bet, Siri is on the way to bringing in some cool new improvements. I can just look forward. What can you say? Impressions?
