Replacing Old Printers
Posted on 03. Apr, 2010 by dimaks in Technology
A couple of days ago, I accidentally peeked into our office stock room and saw that it has been packed with so many old stuffs like printers, desktops and copy machines. I was actually looking for an extra spare part for our defective printer and I saw the massive stocks that were left untouched for many years already. They could been sold to a recycling shop and the proceed can be used to buy new office supplies.
I scoured the huge pile of spare parts there hoping to accidentally bump into a printer with code tm-t88iv but to no avail, I did not find any. Until later on I realized that what I was looking for is a part of quite a new EPSON thermal printer. Had I been informed that it is a new model printer, I should not have gone to that webby and dusty stock room.
That was a waster of time, going through all the old things dumped in the stock room, only to find out that I am browsing at the wrong place.
Perhaps next week, I will just talk to out supply officer to replace some of our old printers into something trendy and updated. And yes, suggest that the old hardware in the stock room be sold to a recycling shop for extra cash.
