I Need a Super Computer

Yes, I want another PC with specs and performance more than what I got right now – super computer! It is because of the gigantic data I have to deal with. And did I say, it’s about 200 gigabytes? I guess I am doomed.
Last week, I told one of the professors in the lab about my need of a bigger data storage and so, he asked one of the students to give me the other 1-Terabyte (4-pcs 250 GB hard disks in one pack – that photo on the left) USB external hard disk. That thing actually looks like an UPS and too noisy too from time to time due to disk reading sequence. Well, anyway it is still a gigantic disk.
Later did I realize that keeping my data with a USB external disk is somewhat dangerous and may bring possible data loss. So, after my adviser knew about this, he remarked that maybe, I need another PC with internal large capacity hard disk.
Yay! that’s really what I needed 
I hope he will work it out soon.

wow.. I just wish i can have even just half a terabyte hdd.. haha! ANd trueness, data integrity and security in external hdds are really low.. very prone to data loss..
im wishing for dual core 2 processor.. weeee… *now i have dual core*

Oooh what kind of project is that which needs superduper storage space? I cannot imagine. Do you think Dimaks that the dimensions of human knowledge is so much enlarged because if IT technology? Will it benefit society eventually? Will it empower Man further? Will it mean less poor and hungry people?

I guess time will come that hard disk would be obsolete. And PC will be using only flash drive with gigantic storage. Having the options of which flash drive would you use Flash Drive 1 with Vista or Flash Drive 2 with Linux etc.. just my two cents
