Just recently, Ford revealed its new Police Interceptor Car, the 2010 Ford Taurus. Ford Taurus came from a very long time of inactivity in the realm of design, in over 15 years or so. This is a breakthrough for the Ford automaker – their engineers worked hand in hand with the Police Advisory Board of law enforcement professionals in order to key-in necessary components submitting to safety, performance, durability, driver comfort and functionality, according to Ford.
Ford’s new police car offers two 3.5-liter V-6 engines. According to Ford itself, the Police Interceptor car or Taurus, in its standard version, will be running at 25% more fuel efficient than the current V-8 model. Ford Taurus also has its version with 2 turbochargers and they call it “EcoBoost“. This monster will deliver a raging 365 horsepower, which is 115 more than the standard Crown V-8.

That is a good looking car for once. Now, if they an only keep the hubcaps on them. Definitely look better than the old Crown Victoria models.
