West Virginia Guard Da’Sean Butler suffered knee injury during the Saturday Basketball game – national semifinals of the NCAA tournament. His knee went wrapped in ice and crutches.
With about nine minutes remaining in the game, Butler felt something different with his left knee until he immediately went on to the floor for few minutes due to sudden pain. Butler apologized for the incident.
By then, West Virginia coach Bob Huggins walked onto him and told him that nothing to be sorry for. The great coach helped his top player stand up due to unexpected injury.
Don’t be sorry, said Huggins.. I love ya.
Da Sean Butler was named as the second-team All-American by the Associated Press to have scored 10 points on 2-for-8 shooting.
I’d do anything for the last 14 minutes, I wish I could change it. That’s it. That’s all I’ve got.
Da Sean Butler said, with his eyes starting to get teary again.
