MMA News: UFC’s Shane Carwin on Steroids?
Posted on 16. Aug, 2010 by dimaks in Sports
It seems that the UFC heavyweight top contender Shane Carwin, who took the belt from Frank Mir for the UFC Interim heavyweight championship sometime in March 2010, is under a heavy barrage of artillery for an alleged use of steroids. Although the record states that Carwin had the possession of the physical performance booster in 2006, there are doubts that his 2007 shot in the UFC could have been a product of him taking the drugs.
What if Carwin really used steroids? How would it appear to you if he managed to beat Brock Lesnar during the UFC 116 in Las Vegas? If you managed to watch their clash during the main event, Carwin was almost at the front door of rejoicing, had Lesnar not able to tap him out for submission.
To whatever the truth standing behind all these notions, we can’t say much about Shane Carwin using steroids, can we? These days, getting around the rules looks so easy. Some do the dirty trick prior to the proper game and get clean on the day of inspection.
Best of luck to Carwin on this seemingly hot issue on the row. He can deny or say that some error came during some check ups but then, things will depend on the proper authorities to decide which is which.
