UFC 137 Results: Diaz Defeats Penn

The UFC 137 results is now online and we got some serious things to look into, especially those who are eyeing for something big for a certain fighter but unfortunately, the prospects were not met. Personally, I was in deep expectation that BJ Penn would finally pull off a win after several defeats in the past, more so for “Cro Cop” and Mitrione. But things did not work out as wished – Nick Diaz ravaged through Penn all throughout the last 2 rounds of their match, “Cro Cop” suffered a series of TKO punches, while Mitrione lost via decision. The same fate met with Dennis Siver. His fight against Donald Cerrone was just too powerful that he could not handle the explosiveness brought by his opponent.
Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic was all-sad while apologizing to his fans. He finally announced the dawn of his UFC career and thereby bade farewell. There was also a question whether UFC 137 is the last series where BJ Penn will be fighting in the octagon. If there are things to be happy about, at least for me, I think it’s the fact that Brandon Vera came back with a win, while Hatsu Hioki made a successful UFC debut.
