Casimero vs Lazarte Round 9 & 10 Replay

This is looking back to what had happened on Feb. 10, during the IBF Junior Flyweight Championship fight between Philippine’s Johnreil Casimero and Argentina’s Luis “Mosquito” Lazarte at Mar del Plata, Argentina. Their bout ended up in an incident which brought nations into commotion. If you were able to watch the fight, you would see the riot incited by the fans of the Argentinian fighter, because of the thought that their fighter was cheated. The same contention fired up in the Philippine side. This issue has been labeled as the Casimero vs Lazarte riot in Argentina. It took place from round 9 onwards the 10th.
This can be considered as an awkward scene in the boxing world, so much so in this particular boxing match. Johnreil Casimero is viewed as the victim of riot for capturing the vacant IBF Junior Flyweight Championship belt. If you watch the video closely, you would see that from round 9, Lazarte has been ramming Casimero with some level of rage while firing shots to the back of the head of the latter. Things heated up and comes near the end of round 9, Lazarte got knocked down.
Round 10 was worse. Lazarte could not hold the barrage coming from Casimero. Lazarte went down to the canvass again. While the Filipino victor is about to finish his opponent clean, empty bottles and chairs rained on the ring. Some fans went up and punched the entourage of Casimero.

Damages were already inflicted while lessons must be learned that not all of those who watch boxing are as professional as you may think. The embassy of Argentina eventually sent its apology for the untoward and unbecoming behavior of the fans or Lazarte.
