It is Ana Julaton vs Lisa Brown fight, comes March 27, 2010, live at the Casino Rama, Ontario Canada!
In the first week of February, we learned about the news on Ana “Hurricane” Julaton, an IBA and WBO 122 lbs World Champion with fight stats 6wins 1 loss 1 draw in only 8 fights to challenge Lisa “Bad News” Brown (16wins 5Ko’s 3 draws and only 3 losses in 23 fights) for the WBA 122 lbs Championship on March 27th in Casino Rama, Ontario Canada.
This fight is a home advantage to Lisa Brown since she lives literally a few meters away from the Casino where the fight will be taking place.
Here are some tidbits about the two fighters to clash in March 27:
Lisa Brown – lost only 3 times in her more or less 10 year career at 122lbs against current Multi divisional World Champ Melissa Hernandez, Current WBC International featherweight Champ Jeanine Garside and retired WBC World Champion Sharon Anyos of Australia.
Ana Julaton – won via a majority decision over Jeffries in September during a main event fight at the HP Pavillion in San Jose CA. Thereby becoming the newly crowned IBA 122lb Champ. She then won in a December 2009 fight. Julaton was voted as ABS-CBN Top Ten Newsmaker of 2009. She aims to be known as the Pound for Pound best in the female division of boxing sport.
