Who is James Toney Anyway?

James Toney aka James Nathanial Toney was born on August 24, 1968. He is an American professional boxer and is now having his shot of the UFC sport. James Toney lives by his moniker “Lights Out”.
James Toney carries his professional boxing career, which can be summarized into: 72 Wins (44 knockouts, 27 decisions, 1 disqualification), 6 Losses (6 decisions), 3 Draws, 2 No Contests. Toney is an orthodox boxer under the training camp of Juanito Ibarra, Freddie Roach and Bill Miller. He has been an active boxer for 22 years and that is where he tries to come from perhaps, to face Randy Couture in the UFC 118.
Here is his video, talking about his debut in the Ultimate Fighting Championship on August 28 at the TD Garden, Boston, Massachusetts, United States.
As Toney mentioned, Â he still very much in game, newbie and freshman and that means he has to step up really hard and quick, as the UFC 118 ticks closer.

James Toney is one bad-ass puncher! I hope Randy doesn’t have to eat too many of those heavy handed punches. I wonder how James will feel flat on his back on the mat…not too comfortable
