September 10 is a Non Working Holiday

Is September 10 holiday? As declared by Malacañang, September 10 is declared as a non working holiday. This is to mark and give way for the Muslims brethren in celebrating the end of the holy month of Ramadan, also known as Eid ul Fit’r.
It is the day where Muslims around the world enjoy the feast, having in mind the successful conquest of oneself in refraining from the demands of worldly life by abstaining from any kinds of food intake during the daytime, as well as avoiding bad deeds, great or small, for a month.
The September 10, 2010 holiday is a signed proclamation by the Philippine President to allow our Muslim brothers and sisters to celebrate the end of Ramadhan.
Of course, this is another 3-day long weekend vacation for the government sector workers.
Eid Al-Mubarak! / Have a nice long weekend!
