UFC President Dana White on Manny Pacquiao using Steroids

Nine (9) days after the collapse of the talk between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather camp, the drug test results came up, following the allegations that the pound for pound king Pacman has been taking steroids to boost himself in the fights. News was reported by the Nevada Sports Athletic Commission (NSAC). On Saturday, Keith Kizer of the NSAC told ABS-CBN News that the Philippine boxing hero Pacquiao was tested for performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs), including steroids. American Floyd Mayweather Jr., also underwent the same and was found negative.
It is reported that Pacquiao’s laboratory tests were done in his hometown in General Santos while Mayweather’s was in Las Vegas. The two test results were sent to Malaysia and Arizona respectively. The result: Manny Pacquiao is Negative of Steroids!
While at that, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White remarked that Floyd Mayweather Jr. blew away the what is perceived as the fight of the century. Here are White’s statements;
“I think [Floyd] blew this fight,” White said in a report by 5thRound.com.
“When another fighter starts dictating a drug test, first of all, Pacquiao’s never tested positive for any drug but Floyd’s going to make him go through drug testing? That’s ridiculous,”
The athletic commission is there for the safety of the fighters. They drug test, they blood test, they do all those other things. For another fighter to be calling out another fighter for some type of blood work is [expletive] crazy. Just [expletive] train for the fight and fight; that’s what everybody wants to see”.
So for those who are dying to know the Pacquaio drug test results, there you have it! Pacman is negative of drugs or steroids for that matter. And I think that’s enough of it, let’s just focus on contemplating over Manny Pacquiao vs Joshua Clottey on March 13, 2010.
