June 14 Declared as Holiday in the Philippines

The then President of the Philippines Gloria Macapagal Arroyo (GMA) declared beforehand that Monday, June 14, 2010 as a holiday in celebration of the Philippine Independence Day, which fell on weekend, that is Saturday (June 12).
In the declaration, GMA referred to the Proclamation 1841 where moving of holidays to the nearest Monday has been authorized.
Again, Monday (June 14) is a Non-Working Holiday.
