Jay Mariotti Arrested for Assault. News broke out that sports journalist Jay Mariotti has been arrested for assaulting his girlfriend, late last night in Los Angeles. Up until now, Marriotti remains in jail.
As one may recall, several controversies or issues had gotten Jay Mariotti’s involvement and these are:
- Public dispute with White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen
- Hated by his former colleagues in the Chicago newspapers, whereby;
- Labeled as “The biggest sports fraud” according to White Sox broadcaster Ken Harrelson
