Haiti Earthquake News and Updates. If you are following the world movement towards the disaster that befell Haiti, you would know that there have been a lot of initiatives started and basically, they stem out from relief funds and donations. On this occasion, a local artist Jacquie Gouveia tried something to help with the relief efforts. She painted cards and put it on eBay auction. Miss Gouveia mentioned that 100% of the proceeds from her card painting will go to the Haiti for the the earthquake victims. Here is one of the two cards she painted;
This is “Haiti II” – one of two art cards created by Carver artist Jacquie Gouveia for the Haitian Health Fund. This card is now on auction in eBay. The colors used are based on Haitian flag.
