The CNN made its list of Intriguing People for December 18, 2009 and we got quite a round of rich trivia to keep. The CNN editor notes that for this article release that “Every weekday, CNN focuses on a handful of people in the news. This is a chance to find out more about what they’ve done — good or bad — what they’ve said or what they believe, and why we think they’re intriguing.“

- Jennifer Jones – “Nominated for five Academy Awards, actress Jennifer Jones died Thursday at 90“.
- Shellie Ross – for twitting about his son, who fell in the pool and died 19 minutes after.
- Mark Weinberger – a doctor from Merrillville, Indiana, who disappeared more than five years ago; was arrested this week while on camping.
- Kurt Muse – a US Army who got detained for 9 months for operation an underground radio station.
- Nicholas Coke - a baby from Pueblo, Colorado, who was born without a brain.
