CD-R King Website Hacked

[ Update 1.21.2010 ] CD-R King Website is now restored / up and running. Wow, CD-R King website hacked? What has been going on in the Internet these days? Even the not-so-big firms in the electronics industry is now being targeted as preys by the online pirates and marauders. I have no complete image of how the CD-R king website looked like before the reported hacking but if you visit the URL now, you would be seeing an “Under Maintenance” page, containing their contact numbers and information.

CD-R King is at fault, again, for not keeping their website secure and protected especially when malicious code could be injected into the e-commerce system they are using.
I think this is how the world of javascripts work – somebody can just put in a code and bam! you’re dead! This is not the first time that we heard a news about website being hacked, in fact there have been reports of it in the past months or year or so.
I hope that the hacked CD-R King site will be restored soon for the avid patronizers and users, both online and offline. The web team should tighten the web security all the more to prevent this incident in the future.

Cd-r King just keeps getting better! It seems they’re really trying to improve customer service. thumbs up!
