While the Google G1 Android Phone launch faced tough challenges in its initial release and have generated various reviews, T-mobile seemed to have caught like 1.5 million pre-orders of the G1 phone, according to TGDaily.
The T-Mobile and HTC initially believed in an optimistic estimate of selling around 700,000 G1s by the end of 2008, but now they feel it too conservative.
T-Mobile reportedly sold out of its 500,000-unit batch within a few days and decided to triple its order to 1.5 million units. Those additional 1 million phones are also gone, according to Fool.com.
