Weekend treats
Posted on 04. Jun, 2007 by dimaks in Life
The way how I love weekends these days is indeed very different. Since I got here in Japan, I seem to have been getting engrossed with experimental cooking. And seeing that Japanese people are very much keen when it comes to foods, I felt it like a magnet to take some time in the kitchen and do some self-treats. Yes, last week, I just did a tofu dessert (too bad I didn’t take a picture of it).. put it in a fridge for about 5 minutes and there! ‘was like an ice-cream
Here’s what I cooked two weeks ago – fried spicy beef with seaweeds and cabbage.

And this meal set for this sunday morning – pumpkin and mushrooms with squid in coconut milk. The red looking dish is chicken, cooked with a “laab namtok” seasoning mix. I also made tomato and onion salad in olive oil.
