Valentine’s Day Ideas
Posted on 10. Feb, 2010 by dimaks in Life
Valentine’s day is closing in and for those who celebrate it, February 14 is a day where one is expected to get a clear listing of their dedicated offerings or gifts for their loved ones. In various parts of the world, the same concept is happening although it varies in terms of ways of celebration. In Japan for example, women give chocolate to men, while on March 14, which they call “White Day”, men gives various gifts to women. As per experience, a Japanese friend told me that as single woman gives the first gift on the 14th of February, a response gift from single man would conclude the start of their boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. The truth is, this tradition was started as a marketing initiative for chocolate companies in Japan. Thus, in various Valentine’s Day Ideas that you may find, Japanese people are somewhat obliged to give gifts to their friends and even office mates so as not to make them feel left out.
Well, there are actually loads of great Valentine’s day ideas around like Valentine’s Day Ideas, Valentine’s day gifts, flowers, Cards, Dinner
