Timing

When in the world you are busy tinkering your digital maps and extracting your raw data from a zipped file on the side, that’s the pretty timing when suddenly, somebody slipped his foot under the power cable laid on the floor, from the central UPS to the main power source, then your computer monitor blacks out along with your CPU. It was like my ears were slapped with cymbals. All I could do was to lift up my head over my desk and say, “ah! nanda yo!!” (Ah! hey, what’s that!!)
I felt like a raging bull. Tsk! But yes, I preferred to remain as a tamed lion 
– I just went out of the lab and bought coffee from the vendo.

I know how that feels. Kahit isang paragraph lang ang nawala that I have to restructure — sakit sa dibdib. Sa office, pag biglang nagtrip ang power, may chorus of AAARGGGHHHs.

I know how that feels. Happened to me several times and it sucks when the pc doesn’t have a UPS (uninterruptible power supply) coz you lose all the data that you haven’t saved. That’s why it’s important that you have one for a desktop. This is why I like laptops coz you don’t lose your data just like that. You have time to save your data while you still have power from the battery. Or if you don’t have a UPS, you can check if the software you’re using can do automatic save every 5 or 10 minutes.

Oh gosh, I’ve had these times also. Problem was I was coding a web program and– blackout! It was so dark I just went to the bed and lay there– scared. Hahah.

Still, that doesnt you wont get worked up and stressed. If it was me, I would at least imagine taking a huge mallet and hitting that person’s head with it. Ah well, but if I were to do that, I’d go to jail haha
