    Very interesting! :) Thanks for doing this meme, Dimaks.
    OH, I thought we were evil…but at least we didn’t purposely ride PUJs for free…lol
    Next time we see you, may we see your Chiquito ears? Pretty please? :)

    Aww I can imagine the little boy that was Dimaks walking the 2 kilometers home … all because he didnt know yet to jeepney-ride and run.

    P.S. You can still take up your art later. Why dont u do digital drawings and share with us?

    P.S. 2 I still have stage fright.

    I also walked home from school when I didn’t have any money for the jeepney. I must’ve spent it on junk food or something. :D

    Hi Dimaks,
    oks naman pala ang test para magumpisa sa school ha, just touch the left ear with rt hand…that’s cool.

    As for your art, i’m sure you’ll find the time again to do it again. Being an artist never ends. Would love to see a post of your work.

    kathy,
    You’re welcome. Haha, you know what, most people who see my ear moving find it weird. But yeah sure, i can show it sometime. I’m even planning to make a short clip of it and post :D

    annamanila,
    Masyado po kasi akong “naive”. Mabait po akong bata noon, lol. Shy lang po talaga. I might entertain my artist’s calling perhaps when I finish my phd. Or who knows, I can track back along the way :) Thanks! and yes, stage fright is always there I think, it’s just a matter of conquering it when you’re at it at certain moments.

    Hello Dimaks!

    Regarding the tongue rolling and ear-moving…wow! They say na only one child in the family can do that daw. But I don’t know coz my siblings and I can’t do it hehe Can’t really control our muscles I guess :)

    Anyway you have an amazing childhood…maraming puwede e-share sa blogosphere hehe I admire you :)

    Leah,
    Hello there! Until now, di ko pa rin alam ang logic kung bakit ganun ang naging sistema nung matatanda sa probinsya namin :D Pag naabot mo raw ang tenga mo, that means 7 years old kana, pero nagkamali sila sa akin, lol.

    I’ll do my best to track back with my arts then. I usually paint landscapes and abstracts.

    verns,
    Really, well my brother can do both too :D He got interested out of his amazement when I showed it to him. I think its a matter of determination to learn something. Praktis lang verns :P

    My childhood …most of the times they bring me to tears :)

    Thanks …and i like your new avatar.

    tina,
    It would have been creepy when right after you stand up from the jeepney seat, may sutsot kang narinig at sabay sabing “miss, mis, bayad mo!” hehe.

    Sino naman ang naka-impluwensya sa’yo sa pagpapagalaw ng tenga? :D

    awwwww… most of time we forget that we were once little and helpless, and passions lost and gone.

    Hi Dmaks:-) Ay pareho tayo sa #s 3 & 5; ako umuwi mag-isa when I was in nursery, I think I was 6. My mother was late, can’t remember why though, so I walked home. And it wasn’t a short walk either! Lucky me, nothing bad happened.
    And I didn’t pay the fare because I forgot. When I got home, I realized I still got the change (coins) intended for the fare. No guilt there, though :-)

    First grade at 5 and a half years of age? Wow! you must be a genius! :D No wonder you’re taking that course in Japan right now. You really are a smart man! :)

    Bout the jeepney fare, I’ve never done it on purpose. The times that I didn’t pay for it was when I forgot about it and the driver also didn’t notice. Hehe :D

    I was anticipating that. Bwahaha. Pero.. wala naman.. nyahaha. nasa dulo kasi ako.. kaya baka di na notice.

    Sa earthing? Hehe. wala lang… i was bored one time.. tapos i saw the nagaraya ad before… haha.. and then i went to the mirror… trying to make my ears move… then a few moments.. success!! bwahahaha

    @herb
    True.. now all i can say is, “How I wish” :) but i guess its not yet too late to patch up things together again.

    @pining
    Buti ka pa may sundo noon :) ako wala.

    @Jaypee
    Hindi pa kasi uso ang kindergarten noon, o kaya hindi pa available sa napaka-remote na area namin na ‘yon. Kaya deretso ako sa grade 1.

    @angelblush
    Lakas ng guts ah, lol. At ang bilis mong natutunan yung pagpapagalaw ng tenga, siguro promil kid ka :D

    @rhodora
    Mga anak po sila ng kapitbahay namin at alam nila na hindi ako nagbibiro kasi umiiyak na ako noong nanghihiram ako ng pera :)

    HI Dimaks! That day you trekked from school to home, you became a man ;-) ! I bet from then on, you made sure you didn’t have a hole in your pocket , or have kept your money somewhere really safe. O, di ba , you learned something from that experience, and became the wiser for it.
    Oh, I do remember the “chiquito ears”! I think he did that when he was about to kiss his lady love in a movie! I have been trying to do that move, but all I manage to do is arch my eyebrows ^0~

    Gina,
    Hello there! thanks for dropping by. You are absolutely right on the lessons learned on that hole in the pocket. Since then, I have become the person who checks his pocket from time to time to check on things if they are still there or not :D That experience became my grandest stepping stone to do things on my own, to test my guts, take a chance and put utmost trust in HIM.

    Chiquito ears! yeah, that was the exact movie where I saw the moving ears. If I remember it right, his right hand was bitten by the bees hanging by their hive by the tree branch :D

    you were shy? i can’t believe it. had there been an ear-moving show way back then, you would have stood out among the crowd! there in japan you can show them japanese how to move your ears, in exchange for some japanese art lessons!

    happy valentine’s day, dear!

    sexy mom,
    When I showed it to them, they were so much amazed :D and I think i got so much time to learn many things about Japan and Japanese, since I will be staying here for the next 3 years or so.

    To a wonderful and blessed family, greetings too!
