Riding Motorcycle Fast at Night

I was reading a very interesting article by Ped Baker at motorcyclenews.com and his pieces on riding motorcycle fast at night are plain and simple use of the surroundings but I think they are clever. To use all possible things around is I think a must because that is all you got to survive the journey. So to speak, nature is a great friend during such times.
Mr. Baker gives the idea that spotting the clues on the road will give a rider where the road goes and it’s a big edge to counter possible occurrence of accidents. Even the lines of cats eyes can be used as indicative items on where does a road go. Add to this are the road markings, as well as the headlight beams. The spacing of white lines can also be utilized as possible hazard indicators.
In my opinion, I think being mindful of the fact that there are bad drivers out there at night, who’s got the habit of falling asleep while driving and those that simply violate basic road rules is a life-saving matter. Especially if one drives in a busy metropolis like that one that I got during my bike riding times, a few years ago. My ride buddies were having a short ride one night and this drunk SUV driver showed up and he was swerving like crazy, cutting everyone repeatedly. It was an unlucky night ride for one of my friends. He got swiped by that power-tripping guy and he suffered several bruises. Good thing though that we got on our side a motorcycle accident lawyer to boot, who is also a biker. When the SUV driver woke up from his senseless driving, he was obliged to pay the damages, including the hospitalization and medications of our colleague.
