Relief Goods in DSWD Warehouse, In Slow-mo?

Relief goods in DSWD warehouse, in slow-mo? Want some photo evidences? Do you think that there were special victims in the recent typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng, deserving special relief goods from DSWD? It is so disappointing to know that many lives have already suffered from loss and those who survived, if not battling the trauma, are facing the ordeal from different diseases while the foods and clothing that they should have received are seemingly bound to rot inside the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) warehouse.
Now, be ready to be really frustrated because what you are about to witness is as disgusting as the cow dung rotting in your local farm. The outburst was actually kindled by a shocking discovery and revelation of a fellow blogger at Blog ni Ella. It’s a poor thing that her site seemed to have received tremendous visits and now it looks blocked due to exceeded bandwidth limit. It’s a good thing that Jennie of jenniepperson.com was able to copy and post the article here.
I hereby took the grant given by Ms. Ella that the photos she posted maybe used or re-posted. But before that, allow me to quote here her words, as per her blog post on October 21, titled “Aanhin pa ang damo kung patay na ang kabayo? (A special report from a volunteer)”
Dear friends,
I’m asking your help to spread the word. Tulungan po ninyo akong ikalat ito. Beyond this, we should also demand action. I disabled a plugin so you can copy the photos of relief goods rotting in DSWD warehouses. You can link this post to your blogs, facebook, websites etc. You can also email the photos.
Philippine News (US based Philippine newspaper) will use this as its front page story this week. Every Filipino has the right to know where the tons of donations from the UN and other counties go. Kahit po nakakahiya sa mga nag-donate. Kung sa ganitong paraan, matutulungan natin ang mga nasalanta, then by all means, let’s do it.
For those who have the time, please try to volunteer sa DSWD warehouses. Getting in was not easy. A friend had to put in a word for us.
Please read on and good luck to us.
Ella

Sayang ‘yung imported”
12 – “Ano kaya ang laman nito? Hindi rin pinabuksan. Pang-special victim din kaya ito? (teka, dito nga pala galing ‘yung mga kumot)”

Hi Rocky,
thanks for dropping by here! i agree with you. the only thing is, some of those people in the high authority, abuse their power and take things that are not theirs. chronic attitudinal disease i must say.

Yea, I read Ella’s blog on facebook.
