You Might Lose Your Sick Leave Payout with Facebook

That is right! Your monthly sick leave payout maybe taken away due to careless use of Facebook. An IBM employee, diagnosed with major depression allegedly posted photos of her, looking very happy in the bars, parties and sunshine holiday. For that, the insurance agency happened to peek into the secret chest and so, her benefits dried up in autumn.
In a hope to reinstate her benefits, Ms Blanchard argued that she followed her doctor’s advice to have fun and enjoy in the pubs and night outs. How cool is that? hehe.
Lesson: Be careful who you add as friend in Facebook. If you said you’re retarded, act like one.
Other instances: “A benefits cheat who conned nearly £20,000 in rent and council tax got caught after boasting about his champagne lifestyle on Facebook“.
Lesson: It’s good to be silent sometimes.
A certain Jonathan McGrory, 39, said he had been a £4,000 cruise and it prompted the Coventry City Council to read his Facebook page. After a hearing: “McGrory was sentenced to eight weeks in jail, suspended for 12 months, and given a 12-month supervision order.”
Lesson: Be humble
