Global Warming Brought By Fat People

Research implied that there is a big blame that can be attributed to fat people regarding global warming. British researchers Phil Edwards and Ian Roberts argue that fat people require more fuel for transportation, as well as food production and consumption, which then require more energy to prepare or process.
The researchers further indicated that since thin people tend to just walk rather than take vehicles to go to a place, it means lower emission produce in the end.
Because 20 percent of greenhouse gas stems from agriculture any reduction in food consumption would help cut emissions.
Edwards and Roberts reasoned the above pertaining to the lowered fuel and food consumption. In the research model of the two, they calculated that “40 percent of the global population is obese, with a body mass index of 30 or over“.
While at that, some obesity experts on the side reminded that Edwards and Roberts forgot one very important reason for increased food production. There is also the issue on food wastage and over production.
Keith-Thomas Ayoob, a pediatric nutritionist at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, said:
Obese people have enough issues to deal with without being demonized for their impact on the environment. The truth is all people are an environmental burden.
I think, that puts it all to a balance scale. So not only that the fat/obese individuals are to be enjoined to observe religiously their ideal diet, which comes by eating the right kind of foods, such as those that supply the beneficial fats, acids and minerals (e.g. conjugated linoleic acid), but also urge those that are in the production industry to adopt the most economical business model.
