So, yes, what is your favorite Pinoy breakfast really? For sure, you would not miss in the list the infamous salty blends on your plateful, very tasty combo of old time but well venerated Filipino breakfast like Tuyo (dried fish) and fried eggs. Now I just salivate for the morning ahead, while writing this.
No, I am not killing time just to let the night come to pass – this is a call of duty, if I may say. But definitely, Pinoy breakfast did not come on board in sudden. I was actually browsing over some huge round up of breakfast recipes in 80breakfasts.blogspot.com and I just can’t get enough. I may not be able to list down all of them here but let me give you my top 5! For now, let us put aside some apidexin reviews as a sort of ordinance for our diet campaigns and savor these mouth watering meal in the morning.
1. Tuyo (dried fish), Pritong itlog (fried egg) and Sinangag (fried rice) – I think I grew up with this one. Just awesome!
2. Pan de Sal served with kesong puti (white cheese) – If you are in a hurry, then take this set. A quick walk to your nearest bakeshop is all it takes.
3. Scrambled Eggs with Ampalaya, Longanisa and Sinangag – minus the Longanisa, this one is very hearty to me.
4. Corned beef omelet – Partner this one with rice and coffee and you are good to go.
5. Paksiw and sinangag – A bowl of yummy hot soup is always a delight to me, so I picked this one. Give me a glass of cold pineapple juice or mango and it’s a great day ahead.
How about you, what is your favorite Pinoy breakfast? Care to share them here?
