    sexy mom,
as a whole, they made a very good team :)

PS: on the side note, i was expecting a segment that could somehow link the youth’s dreams into empowering our own basic component of living and commerce, that is the agricultural side. But perhaps, I should be putting it in the context of the school’s name as “Philippine Science”? Just a thought :)

    Dimaks,

That would have been a fantastic topic, but all ideas were generated by the students. The closest to what you suggest is a simple blog named “Philippines in the Eyes of the People” which offers a ’street-level’ view of Philippine politics, economics and society.

Specific research areas such as agriculture come in their later years when they start thinking of research topics of their science and technology research classes. For now, it’s just all fun and exploration. :)

Anyway, expect a post soon that explains how Pisay Meets World came together. :) There’s currently a podcast that explains the intellectual roots of the activity.

    Cheers!

    Sir Martin,
Thanks for acknowledging my point. So by now, I can see a bright horizon ahead for the students to head to, with your energetic supervision of course.

I will take a peek at that blog site you pointed out, as well as the podcast. Best of luck to you, your students and the school as a whole.

If all our youth are like these group of students I can see a bright future for us and our country. I agree, they do deserve some commendation for this project. More power to the people behind this project. God bless! :)

    Sonnie,
Thanks for dropping by. And welcome.. it’s a small portion that I can contribute.

    Jaypee,
Though they still got a long way to go, at least they did the first step. For a million miles of travel always starts with a step :)

    tina,
Yes ..I hope the ideals grow with them.
