Cool Down Your Summer Days
Posted on 03. May, 2010 by dimaks in Life
For sure, most of us hate when summer comes up and the extreme heat hits up. It affects our way of dealing with other people and our inner attitude to a greater extent. All we do is try to find ways on how to enjoy a cooler environment and sometimes we even blame nature for the happening. Well, there are many ways that you can try to cool down your summer days.
During summer, there are places that you can visit to enjoy a cold environment. You can go to the malls, buy some refreshments at a cafe and stay there for a while. Much better if you go out with your family and friends – chilling out is more enjoyable. If you got your precious laptop, you can just surf or chat your way all through out. Next thing is, you can just go to an open space places. It can be parks or shrines (if you love that) or maybe a beach resort. Have a dip or swim in the pool. For sure, turning your own air-conditioning system on is not that practical but you can at least take refuge to securing your ceiling fan and enjoy a cheaper way of staying cool during summer days.
Other tips can be done on the way of how you dress up for the day. Avoid having those get-ups that absorb heat but rather take those that reflect it. Hence, avoid dark colored tops!
If you live in a place where it is safe to just leave your windows open, then do it. Open every possible opening that you think that can catch air flow. Your door can be one, but of course prioritize safety.
Lastly, I think it is a good practice to keep an open mind, cooler attitude and aura. Try to spend your day with more patience. That way, you maintain a cooler temper and I am sure it will have positive effects on you. It can shoo away the heat of the summer, at least mentally.
