31 Different Ways To Tie Your Shoes

Whilst mathematics tells us that there are more than 2 Trillion Methods of feeding a lace through the six pairs of eyelets on an average shoe, Ian’s Shoelace site presents a (somewhat more realistic) typical cross-section of traditional and alternative lacing methods.
The selection is limited to those methods that Ian considered worthy of devoting the time required to create instructions, either because they are widely used, have a particular feature or benefit, or just because he like the way they look.

waa i have to check it out. it’s a constant trouble for me to tie my shoelace after it;’s been washed. i dont know how. hahaha

Wow, very interesting! I didn’t know that there are 2 trillion methods of tying shoelaces. I’m only aware of like 3. Hehe

I only go for the criss-crossing type. It’s the simplest. And i don’t want to learn anymore new types.. hehehe.. tamad nang mag-aral…
The criss-cross is what I taught my children too. I remember while demonstrating to them the criss cross shoe lace tying – they said: Mama! You are doing lots of X’s!
