Cool! Though masaya din yung road trip na you’re driving…I know it’s better to just be in the passenger seat enjoying the view and all.

Glad you had fun Dimaks :)

Whoa, this made me nostalgic all of a sudden. I agree, a visit to the Tohoku region is a must – ang ganda ng mga mountains at nature parks. Incidentally I was in Yamagata for three years, and prior to that, about 6 months in Sendai. During that period I had the opportunity to visit several fantastic places in the Tohoku region, but my most favorite places are Matsushima and Yamadera. If you have the opportunity do try to visit Yamadera. :) I also had my first (and only one, I’m afraid) cherry-picking at Tendo, Yamagata. I still have my cherry-shaped souvenir keyholder bought from that souvenir shop.

    A current Fukushima JET,
thanks for dropping by.. i guess we passed by Fukushima but we did not stay for long, perhaps ‘was not part of the itinerary that our tour organizer have prepared. i am quiet aware though Fukushima have lots of nice “stuffs” :)

In actuality, there aren’t really any big tourist attractions in the prefecture. Aside from Aizu’s Tsurugajo and the Onsen dotted around the prefecture, I can’t really think of much else. Then again, what part of Japan doesn’t have a famous castle and a bunch of onsen.
