Firefox 3 Download Day

Perhaps many of us have been hearing the news that Firefox 3 will be released soon and that Mozilla foundation wants to set a Guinness World Record for the most software downloaded in 24 hours.
So here are your options to respond to the call.
- Plan a Download Fest in your school or office. You can get together during your lunch hour or break to download Firefox 3.
- Join one of the following social networking groups and then invite all your friends.
- Become a Firefox Campus Rep and collect pledges from fellow students.
- Follow the campaign on Twitter.
- Add one of the buttons or banners for the campaign to your site, blog or profile.
Well, I have been a fox user for about 7 years now and mozilla never failed to amaze me with its outstanding performance and support in the vast domain of Internet. Give back an ounce of what you have been enjoying for the past years by participating in the campaign. Moreover, this is somewhat being a part of a history so Take your pledge of support now!

Seriously? Whoah, that’s the same campaign for IE when they launched Windows Vista, am I correct?
I’ll stick with Safari browser. All blogs including yours looks fantastic in Safari – clean and just faster. My Firefox on Mac doesn’t look nice at all.

I guess so K. Anyway, I have not tried Safari yet but I am hearing many good things about it. Worth a try maybe. And btw, i discovered that my blog site does not look good in IE browser (the latest, as far as i know).

i use firefox, too. ie, they say isn’t as safe as ff.

Firefox freaking rocks. Safari gets on my nerves, not to mention Apple’s current campaign of trying to trick Windows users into downloading it with their “software update.”

I still haven’t finished my draft for this campaign. Like you, I’ve been a Firefox user for more than 7 years now. The first time I tried it was stilled called Phoenix.
I don’t know what I’ll do without Firefox and my favorite add-ons. I hope they’d come up with a mobile version to compete with Opera. I use Opera for browsing on my phone which is way better than PIE (Pocket Internet Explorer).
Can’t wait for Firefox 3 to be released. Although I won’t be downloading and installing it right away, coz of add-on compatibility issues. I’ll wait until all the add-ons I have are compatible with Firefox 3.
