Monkey Waiters In Japan

But seriously not in for a monkey business, there is this pair of monkey waiters in a Japan Tavern Kayabukiya, somewhere in the north region. Yat-chan and Fuku-chan were employed to serve the restaurant’s customers.
Are you in short of human resources and facing wage issues? Perhaps this can be one of your options – employ monkey waiters. But I think, it will take big time and efforts to train a couple of these helpful creatures. I just wonder how this goes with the animal rights proponents, if ever monkeys are part of the cause.

Saw this in the news the other night. I’m not sure if that can be considered as exploitation being these monkeys are wild animals. However, I assume they are being treated well and fed regularly so I guess its okay.

Hey I watched this on the news too.. Its so cute!!! Deifnitely gotten more sales from beer with these monkeys.

Japan provides us with various new items that we tend to be surprised by. This is an entertaining piece of footage, and gives us a glimpse of the possible future.

I’m not sure I would want to be served by one. You never can tell what the get up too with their hands???But guess a good way to save money? so who does the washing up and cleaning up?
