Nick Scandone will represent U.S. in the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games.

Nick was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis 6 years ago, and thought that Olympic competition will be just a dream. But now, he is preparing to represent the United States in the 2008 Beijing Paralympics, which will kick off on September 6, 2008. His partner will be Maureen McKinnon-Tucker on a SKUD 18. (Source)
