Kokoro no koe (Voice of the heart)

Sharing the first Japanese music video I have watched (tv of course) during my first day in Japan, sometime in April 2006. A music video by SEAMO (Takada Naoki) featuring Azu.
SEAMO (シーモ) is a Japanese rapper and hip-hop artist who debuted in 2005 under BMG JAPAN. He rose to fame after collaborating with hip-hop duo BENNIE K on SEAMO’s single a love story. SEAMO would later have hit songs with the long charting single Mata Aimashou and Lupin the Fire. (Source)
AZU (アズ) is a Japanese pop / urban artist signed under Sony’s BMG label. Since the age of 16, AZU has been performing live at clubs — shows mostly held around the Kansai and Toukai areas. Her name comes from the phrases “A~Z and handed down to you.” …first appearance on when she was selected by SEAMO to be featured on his second album, Live Goes On. The song, Kokoro no Koe ended up being used as the radio single to promote the album. AZU was also featured on the Oricon 2007~spring~ Sound Blowin’ concert. (Source)
Sorry, i could not find a complete and decent translation of the lyrics so for now, just enjoy the tune

I remembered I have a couple of CD in 2004 of Japan’s Pop duo singer Chage & Aska and evennif I can’t understand anything Japanese, I would still prefer the Japz over Cantonese singers. I have Utada Hikaru playing on my iPod specially her popular song “First Love” which then later copied by Jessa Zaragosa.
