Hip Hop Review: Drake Debuts, T.I.’s Trouble Man, Nicki Minaj’s Sophomore Album

Drake Debut at No.1 with “Take Care”. The past week looked like a positive vibe for hip hop artist Drake. His Sophomore set “Take Care” feat. Rihanna went to the top chart, bringing him the highest sales of the week. The album sold around 630k copies in its first seven days in the market, dragging behind Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” and Lil Wayne’s “The Carter IV“. Meanwhile, it has been revealed that “The Young Money rapper” blasted off some pieces of his upcoming album titled “Rejuvenation“. Drake also answered some of Ludacris’ diss on “Badaboom” by revealing that he’s already begun crafting on his 3rd album.
T.I to Enlist Pimp C verse in “Trouble Man”. As part of his trading of words with 50 Cents, T.I. with his Producer Caviar plan to enlist the unreleased Pimp C verse. Moreover, the King of the South is in talks with Usher to come up with the right track to record the upcoming album – Trouble Man. Watch out for this music work that is labeled as “feature-packed affair“.
Nicki Minaj Prepares Sophomore Album. Another addition to Sophomore line is Nicki Minaj’s “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded“. It will be arriving in early 2012. Meanwhile, Lil Wayne announced the coming of a new Young Money family – Torion Sellers. Quite a powerful week for the Young Money group.
