It was from Jaypee’s post where I came to know about the “Proudly Pinoy” Logo Design Competition. The logo was intended for placement on Filipino websites, to elegantly declare and express one’s pride and Philippine identity. The design competition was able to gather 297 entries. You may take a look at the complete list of entries submitted here. I warn you, they are all eye candies to me.
Here is the winning entry by Joe Talisic.

Anyone who is proud to be Pinoy may use this logo on their website. It is free to use for both personal and business websites. The only requirements are (1) do not modify the logo except resizing, and (2) link the logo back to this site (http://www.proudlypinoy.org/), so that when someone clicks on the logo, they can see this website. (ProudlyPinoy)
As of now, large, medium, and small version of the winning logo is available for download. Versions with transparent backgrounds are coming soon according to ProudlyPinoy.
Congratulations to the participants of this competition. A job well done by the organizers and the generous sponsors.

I like #44, the one with the jeepney. #50 and 55 are good, nationalist theme. #81 is good, too, the Jose Rizal a la Superman.
The ones with the eagle are good, too. Ang dameng magaling.

I can wear any of those 50 + entries on my lapel or in my logo and feel proudly pinoy! Ang galing galing!
The only trouble is i really don’t know how to copy and paste into my side bar.
Even those badges I have received — rocking, thinking, schmoozing, etc. — I haven’t picked em up.

Really cool, noh? Didn’t you join, Dimaks? I think you’re digital graphics skills are cool, too. It would be cute if it were a penguin and the Philippine colors.
