You deserve to be paid
Posted on 11. Dec, 2006 by dimaks in Blogging
This post is actually a small part of the waves sweeping around the internet about getting paid while surfing the www. I came to know this through a blog-promoting-blog, posted by one of its contributors. Threw in a few seconds to read about the new online earning tool and I found it promising. It’s AGLOCO (short for “A Global Community”).

One if its base contentions was the surf-and-get-paid program back in the year 1999. Yes, I signed up in this program but lost track of it when I lost frequency of getting online. I also signed up for the paid emails, where an online company sends you emails about ads from different advertisers, click one of the links therein and get credits. But then, that did not work out well for me too. And now comes the Google AdSense. Honestly, I was eyeing for this program too but not after reading some reviews on its potential with the low or mid-range bloggers nowadays. Unless you run quiet a large online business and energy to write about, Goodle AdSense is just an appetizer for you. So I think, we deserve less complicated alternatives and appropriate compensation while burning our eyebrows in surfing the internet, and while ads owners earn thousands of dollars through our mouse clicks.
Things are not fair on the Internet. Companies are making tons of money off us left and right. Every time we buy something, watch an ad, even search the Internet, money is getting dealt all around us. And we don’t see a cent. -AGLOCO
When Google launched, a great search for free was a good deal. Now that Google is making over a billion dollars a month off our searches, obviously FREE IS TOO EXPENSIVE. -AGLOCO
Google pays AOL 10 cents per search. Obviously, they can afford to pay us the same. Now AGLOCO came and wants to lend a hand to make that happen. So might as well consider checking out AGLOCO and sign-up using this link:
It has my referral ID in it and I get instant credit. If we build the community and refer other members, AGLOCO recognizes that we’re the ones making them valuable and we make more money.
See you in the growing community.. thanks!
Note: The program is still in beta testing. Still trying to accumulate members and they will make the software available for download in a few weeks.

Haha, thanks.. sure why not. It’s one of the latest themes this week. Today, another one came out, named as Garland (and rockin’ color picker!). I think it’s cool too.

Oh. I wasn’t aware Google was making money for every search we do. How do they do that? Like, from the advertisers?

Exactly
and to think, they would not just give away those precious services without something good in return. They got sponsored links, which I think are paid by its company owner ,to be shown in google search result pages. Yeah, its also an ad.

Thanks for the drop. Maybe I’ll try that community out, maybe not.
Google needs those sponsored ads, if not, they would die. Honestly. Imagine how many Tb they consume a month.

Tb? As in, terabytes? Wow! Is that for bandwith, hits or space? That’s an amazing number.

No doubt they got to have those hundreds of thousands of data centers to bear the load induced by such a grandeur of web activities.
