The Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs in 2008

Update 1: I still need four (4) more blogs for brief review and nomination. If you think that you got what it takes to be in, then don’t hesitate to comment here and request for consideration.
This entry was driven by two calls namely, the call to nomination itself and an urge to bring onto the pedestal, an image of a Mindanaoan blogger in the circle of emerging influential blogs in 2008. This campaign was called for by Janette Toral on the 14th of May 2008.Here are the first round of my top 10 emerging influential blogs in 2008:
First wave:
1. Bariles Republic. A Mindanao based blog featuring the author’s utmost efforts to bring about the real beauty of the island, particularly General Santos City, amidst the thriving harsh commentaries by the media. A very well attended blog.
2. Ready To Be Rich. Indulge with Fitz Villafuerte’s real life experiences and practical tips on how to save money and almost everything.
3. Missing Carlo. Who wouldn’t notice the unparalleled love and affection of a sister to his brother? Check out Mica’s blog and be touched.
4. Julia Aquino. If you are up for the latest entertainment news then this is the place for you to go. A young blog but day by day getting strong. Mind looking at the blog stats and ranking?
The 2nd wave:
5. richarddiongson.com. A perfect question for this guy will be, how does he manage to blog while struggling with his nursing board exam review?
6. ProTycoon. Barely a six (6) months old blog, David Shaw has been showing pure enthusiasm in building a very cozy online environment for his blog readers. As I see it, his blog would go a long way in giving away precious tips and resources for blogging.
7. Mar Roxas For President in 2010. This is a purely-made in the Philippines blog, running under the strong advocacy of encouraging Senator Mar Roxas to run for Presidency in the year 2010. I need not to stress how this blog is making waves in the blogoshpere; Kevin Ray Chua even got the senator’s call and talked to him.
8. VISITSAGADA. A site dedicated to Sagada – made possible through a 5-man team, who all want to share the thrill and joy of going to Sagada to everyone else who chooses to experience it.
9. Pinay Mommy Online. A blog by a stay-at-home Filipina mom, who left her work for her kids. She does blogging for a living and now manning 6 blogs in total. Amazing!
10. mapiles.com. This guy is just making a bunch of tasks and giving it away for free to the rest of his fellow bloggers. He tackles subjects ranging from Blogging itself, SEO, Programming, Troubleshooting and Online Money Making.

Right now, my eyes are just too tired to scour those blogs out, so I only came up with four (4).
