SocialSpark, socialize and earn with your blog!
Posted on 24. Jun, 2008 by dimaks in Blogging
A few days of surfing the internet brought me to a social networking site, which uniquely brings new dimension to online socializing and earning through our blogs. Running under four main code of ethics namely, 100% Audit-able In-Post Disclosure, 100% Transparency, 100% Real Opinions, and 100% Search Engine Friendly, SocialSpark allows a closer interaction among bloggers and advertisers as well.
While you grow your friends in SocialSpark, you may earn significant points of trust (rating) from everyone, especially advertisers, by way of receiving “Props”. This happens when someone views your profile and clicks the link near the thumbs up button located at the upper right corner of your profile. There is also a negative rating called “Drops”, symbolized by thumbs down icon. And did I say you can rate (prop) the advertisers too?
There will be three (3) main types of opportunities that you can take. First is the “POST” or “Sponsored Post” opportunity. Here, a blogger will make a unique sponsored post on his/her blog according to the guidelines and requirements set by the advertisers. The advertiser can then choose whether a blogger can include images, videos or press release materials going along with the advertisers pre-made texts.
The second opportunity is the “SPON” or “Blog Sponsorship”. This one allows advertisers to use SocialSpark’s unique technology to run ads, which can be in the form of banners, bearing either texts, images or videos. The advertisers pay per day to the selected blogs running the ads.
The last but not the least is the “SPARK” opportunity. Sparks are free opportunities to take that serve as ideas for blog posts, used by both bloggers and advertisers. I believe this one is a campaign and guidance tool for both ends of internet market field, within the context of bloggers and advertisers.
Here is a screenshot of a featured opportunity that you can see right after you log into your account.

And here is for my profile, with the cool Tux in iPod avatar.

So, ready to take the plunge? Come and witness the sparks going on!

I joined Social Spark about a month a go but I haven’t really been active in it, even in paid posting. I find their site disorienting and not user friendly.
