Sites to ping automatically when you update your blog

In case you have not done this yet, might as well do it now for added optimization of your blog update and presence. When you ping, the site automatically gets updates from your blog and therefore your posts get noticed in the web sooner.
Here is the way to do it: While logged into your worpress, go to: Settings>Writings> then go to “Update Services“. Paste the following lines (separated by line a break) in the text box.

Click “Save Changes” and you’re done!

Funny, I seldom do the “pinging thingie” once I hit “publish” button, but yeah, this can add traffic (not that I needed it) but why not, diba? Thanks.

ping is like poking the head a ping man telling him that you have updated your blog, or you have a new entry and that he can now fetch such information and share it to search engines for the world wide web to know
