dimaks is back to blogging

This post is supposedly before that of the Blog Action Day 2009, but time was seemingly short and so I had to craft a quick entry about it. Several months had passed without blogging because of some technical issues that hit my WordPress portal. First, my blog database got messed up and I could not get a post published. My WP plugins went kaput and I could not do anything beyond hopelessly tinkering with my WP files while thinking what went wrong and what caused which.
Out of desperation, I even thought of shutting down my domain and stop blogging, or perhaps retire to my blogger blog and continue the things over there. Good thing that after bugging Jaypee (thanks bro!) countless times, he finally found the culprit – my .htaccess file. Would you imagine that? For some reason, it was modified and so I could not do any effect on my blog file systems.
Now that things are working and back to normal, I think it is also about time to fill those lags and start posting again. In view of that, I decided to give my comeback a treat by putting up fresh WP theme – Meta-Morphosis from Woo Themes. I did some tweaks and customization, so now I need to recollect my old sidebar codes for my affiliates and things. Tedious, but I must.
Well, there you go! In a few days or so, I hope to finish polishing my old blog pages and smoothen things as much as possible.
