There is this Coke Event for Bloggers called upon by the PinoyBlogoSphere.
What: Buhay Coke ng Bloggers with SM Hypermarket (party ito!)
When: June 27, 2008, Friday, 7:00 p.m.
Where: Taste Asia (beside SM Hypermarket) at the Mall of Asia
Come in an angel or devil attire (or wear black, red or white) and get a chance to win more prizes!

Are you going with an Angel’s outfit na may pakpak ba? Hehehe. Sarcastically speaking, ganun na ba talaga ka seryoso ang mga blogista sa atin? Di ba dyahe mag join ang mga “unknown” bloggers?
I have never heard “blog events” going on in HK. Maybe it’s just me. I’m not surprised, hehehe.

Mas prefer ata ng mga HK-nese and Kababayans alike yung Facebook and Friendster than blogging. At di lang yan, if you visit some Starbucks cafe for locals mas pabor sila sa MySpace than blogging.
I asked kasi and they were like, “Blogging? We know, but waste of time”. Asa ka pa.

well, knowing the rough stats would be nice if we only got the source but then, it’s understandable i guess. people from abroad prefer to use the profile intensive social networking sites for immediate contacts with their online friends, as well as real life ones. But that’s just my opinion.
