Water Bill

This is quite a minor thing to tackle but it came to a point where we could not tolerate our water bill anymore. Imagine paying around 700 PhP for a month of water supply. I can perfectly understand that we chose to live in a semi-commercialized building and area but isn’t it alarming for persons of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) to pay such amount? We don’t do our laundry and we cook only during night time, so not that much dishes to wash. The water bill keeps on rising, hence my wife has been complaining since then.

The mystery was uncovered when one night my foot almost slipped upon entering our shower room. Only to find out that the floor was wet and with about an inch of water covering it. With my awesome investigation, I saw water leaking from our faucet base and concluded that it was the culprit. I still have to talk to our building caretaker though. It sucks living with this kind of utilities but it was a good thing we found the cause of the tormenting water bill.
So my advice before securing an apartment for rent? Take a close inspection of its basic utilities like water supply, including electrical settings and the like. Demand a test of the things inside your desired room. Bug the caretaker a lot
