Posted on 14. Jan, 2010 by dimaks in Asides
If you are like me who’s into transport studies and research, and into aviation sector, perhaps you would want to attend this up coming seminar pertaining to Aviation Safety. The seminar is called “Raising the Bar” and will be this 20th of January 2010. Just a few days away but just in case you forgot about it, you still got the time to prepare. Canada’s Safety Officer, David Cox, will be delivering a presentation on the most common causes of flying accidents.
These are the important details that I got from the buttonvilleflyingclub.com:
Location: 3rd floor auditorium, 4900 Yonge Street, North York, ON (one set of traffic lights north of the Yonge Street/Sheppard Avenue intersection, north of the 401 highway)
Date: January 20, 2010
Time: 7:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. (please plan to arrive at 6:45 p.m. to get a good seat!)
Cost: Free
You are advised to bring a photo identification and your License Number for your entry into the building.
I know a friend who’s attending this seminar and will be staying in Ontario for a couple of days more. So I told him to just stay in one of the Toronto hotels there instead of staying in his relatives in Oakville.
I would love to attend this occasion but you know how funds request process works in our country
