Relentless

It’s not so usual that I blog about 1-word kind of things but this time, perhaps may give an additional shade on my online segment of life as a blogger and Internet lurker. It is about 3am in the morning and I am supposed to be sound sleeping but it seems that there are so many things in line that have to be dealt with before the next day breaks.
This time, I will be writing about “Relentless”. The word is straightforward and bold. But it changes in breadth when it comes to my wife. Relentless has been her chosen digital signature and online representation. She has been using this nickname since 2006 and everything spread wide from there. She uses it in the forums, online trivia games and instant messengers as well as online multi-player role-playing games (yes, we do play them). She even made a huge collection of Relentless related graphics that are mostly clothing and beverage related.
So, does her being “Relentless” in the virtual world connect to the real one? Yes it does. My wife is really relentless when it comes to dealing with life. She does not seem to get tired of waiting for any chances on things, it be problems or things that she wanted to accomplish. And I admire her more because of that. One of the things that I do to at least commend her from keeping this positive trait is by giving her gifts as time permits. Do you remember that magical necklace given by Arwen to Aragorn in the Lord of the Rings movie? Wifey have had the admiration on it ever since we watched the epic movie. So as one of the gifts for her that I should have given a long time ago especially during our wedding anniversary, I saved for the accessory and bought one online. She was very much surprised when I gave it to her. She told me that she never thought that she could ever own one.
Right now, I am contemplating on what other gifts should I aim for, comes next special occasion.
